1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SwissBill ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SwissBill is a mobile application that helps you:

• Scan and store Swiss QR bills and receipts
• Set reminders for bill due dates
• Track your spending with local analytics
• Organize bills with categories and notes

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the accuracy of data you enter or scan
• Making timely payments to your creditors (SwissBill is a tracking tool, not a payment service)
• Maintaining the security of your device
• Backing up your data if desired (the App stores data locally only)

4. No Payment Processing

SwissBill is a bill tracking and reminder application only. It does not process payments, transfer money, or connect to your bank accounts. You remain solely responsible for paying your bills through your preferred banking method.

5. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate scanning and data extraction, the App uses optical character recognition (OCR) and AI which may occasionally make errors. Always verify important information such as payment amounts, IBANs, and due dates before making payments. SwissBill is not liable for errors in scanned or extracted data.

6. Intellectual Property

SwissBill and all associated trademarks, logos, and content are the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LATE PAYMENT FEES, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Reminders and Notifications

Bill reminders are provided as a convenience feature. We do not guarantee delivery of notifications, which depend on your device settings, network conditions, and iOS system behavior. You should not rely solely on the App for critical payment reminders.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All data is stored locally on your device and we do not have access to it.

11. Updates and Changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
